The BRIT Libraries

The BRIT Libraries serve to support botanical research, in Texas and elsewhere in the world. The scientific reference collection includes materials valuable for research, particularly in systematic botany. The collection has been selected to represent a comprehensive library of botanical science. The collections also support science educational programs sponsored and hosted by BRIT. Students and teachers use books from BRIT's library to enrich their studies and to reach a fuller understanding of the value of plants. The BRIT libraries are among the largest and finest collections of botanical literature in the southwestern United States. The libraries operate as a reference libraries and are open for public use by appointment, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Library inquiries please email library@brit.org |
