What is GROW membership?

GROW membership is a joint membership between the Fort Worth Botanic Garden (FWBG) and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT). A GROW membership gives free admissions to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and BRIT.

Why is BRIT managing the membership program?

The success of joint GROW education and volunteer programs led to a collaborative membership program. BRIT, which already had a membership team in place, agreed to administer the joint GROW membership program with net revenues split between the Botanic Garden and BRIT.

What if I’m already an active member at Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) or Fort Worth Botanical Society?

If you’re already a member, you’re already a GROW member. Until your current membership expires, you’ll receive a complimentary GROW membership. Active Fort Worth Botanical Society members should click here and fill out the form to become a GROW member.

What happens to my membership with the Fort Worth Botanical Society?

After April 1, 2019 a GROW membership is necessary to gain Garden and BRIT benefits. If you want more information about your Society membership, contact the Fort Worth Botanical Society office at (817) 392-5548.

What if I have a membership for another nearby garden?

Some other garden memberships will get you admission to the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens but no discounts on events, gift shops, invites and other GROW member benefits.

Can I get into the Dallas Arboretum for free?

Yes, bring your GROW membership card(s) and valid ID to gain free main gate entry. Click here for a complete list of the 300+ reciprocal gardens. When visiting other gardens, we recommend contacting them for information.

If I purchase a Partner level membership or above, do I have to provide the names for everyone else on the account?

No. You don’t have to provide all names at the time of purchase, but to gain benefits all adults (19+ years old) and children must be listed on membership. Adult children with disabilities are included.

Is a partner level membership or above just for couples and families?

No. Any adults under one household can purchase a partner level membership or above.

Can I change the names under my membership at any time?

You can add up to 2 adults and children living in one household if they haven’t been previously added. If names are already on the account, then the names cannot be changed.

Do children need membership cards to gain admissions?

Children under 15 require an adult to visit the garden. No membership card is necessary for member children under 15. All children under 6 years old will be free.

What are guest passes?

Guest passes are Supporter level benefits. These are one-time use passes that gains admission into the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Please pick up your guest passes at BRIT Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Make other arrangements for pick up by contacting membership@fwgrow.org.

What is a GROW Access membership?

This membership offers SNAP program recipients a $30 membership. Benefits reflect the GROW Partner membership level. Stop by the Fort Worth Botanic Garden or BRIT to get an Access membership.
