Bella's Field Study Experience

Pre-K - 1st Grade

Pre-K - 1st graders join Bella the Begonia for a field trip where they will enjoy story time and guided indoor and outdoor explorations. These experiences foster curiosity while developing early literacy, science and math skills.

 

Time: 10:00 AM - 11:45 AM

Cost: $150.00 for 20 or fewer students. Groups larger than 20 students will be charged $5.00 per additional student. Maximum 100 students.

Teachers/Chaperones: (1) participating teacher/chaperon per 10 students is required. Additional teacher/ adult chaperones will be $5 each. Max 20 teachers/ adult chaperones. 

Registration: Contact Kimberly at least two weeks prior to your trip at kwhitlock@brit.org.

Payment: Payment is due two weeks prior to your trip. You can pay by credit card, check or purchase order.

Cancellation Policy: Up to 14 days prior to the field study trip, a full refund is offered. No refund is offered less than 14 days prior to the field study trip if you must cancel. In extreme weather situations a rescheduling option may be available.

 

Sample Schedule of Rotations:

  • 9:45* - Meet and greet Bella in the foyer
  • 10:00 - Welcome and divide into groups. Each group will visit three rotations:
    • Tree House exploration stations
    • An interactive read-aloud story time
    • Outdoor exploration stations
  • 11:30 - Closing and goodbye

*Arrival or departure times are flexible upon request. 

*A fourth rotation will be added for groups larger than 75
