About the Great Tree Ring

The Great Tree Ring is an alliance of individuals and organizations who care about trees and are devoted to the development of scientific and environmental literacy in our society.  The goal is to promote a sense of place and an appreciation for the natural world through the discovery of local trees and the stories that make them "great."
