
"Butterflies in the Garden” is the largest exhibit of live, exotic butterflies in North Texas and housed in the conservatory of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden at 3220 Botanic Garden Boulevard.

Approximately 12,000 beautiful, live butterflies of every hue and size will fill the conservatory with shimmering color during the month-long exhibit. Butterflies from Southeast Asia; North, Central and South America; and Africa will be released into the conservatory each week. Among the more than 100 species are the popular iridescent Blue Morpho, the graceful longwings from Central and South America, the Great Mormon, and the Indian Leafwing from Malaysia. Proceeds from the event support established public education and environmental projects of the Fort Worth Botanical Society and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas.

Adults (age 13-64) = $10
Seniors (age 65+) = $8
Children (age 3-12)= $6 *Strollers are not allowed inside the conservatory.
Tickets are available for timed entrance every 30 minutes from 10 am to 4 pm.
Individuals may purchase tickets in advance or at the door.
Educational programs are available by reservation for home school families and school groups.
