Thank you for considering becoming a volunteer with the BRIT Press! We are always grateful for any and all help we can get. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please peruse the list of possible positions below and send us an email or  call if there is one that interests you.

Available Volunteer Positions (as of 09-MAR-2015)

Review Books (high priority) Process review book requests and input data into the database as well as publish the list of available titles on the BRIT website so potential reviewers may know what is available. Volunteers may also take books and do reviews themselves. [computer-based; on-site or at home]
Layout/InDesign If you have InDesign skills, there are usually a number of layout tasks with which we need extra help. [computer-based; on-site or at home if you have your own software]

Researchers use this database to find references on particular genera, families, and other subjects. Volunteer would also edit bibliographic records and add links to records from BHL (Biodiversity Heritage Library). [computer-based; on-site]
Journal Indexing Index current or past issues of the journal (authors, reviewers, titles, subjects, etc.). Prepare the index for the year-end print volume. Volunteers would also connect keywords with the Atrium module described above. [computer-based; on-site or at home]
Journal Reprints Sort article reprints for authors once journal has been published and reprints are ordered. Twice yearly, usually in July and December. [physical task; on-site]
