About the BookDr. Piers Majestyk is a postdoctoral fellow at Duke University. He is focused on taxonomic studies of poorly understood genera/families of bryophytes. He also has interests in floristic studies within North America and in tropical regions throughout the world. Dr. John Janovec is a research botanist and head of the Andes to Amazon Biodiversity Program at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas. He is focused on field and museum investigations of neotropical Myristicaceae and the flora of the Andes-Amazon region of southeastern Peru.
