Kim joined BRIT, as an intern, in September of 2010, following graduation from Austin Peay State University. While at Austin Peay she studied the floristics of seasonally wet limestone cedar glades of Tennessee and Kentucky. As an intern, Kim digitized specimens from Wise County.
In October of 2010, Kim joined the BRIT staff, as a Herbarium Technician. Her main duties include processing specimens collected by BRIT researchers, including producing labels, databasing, and digitizing herbarium specimens. Kim is interested in Texas and Tennessee floristics and conservation of rare plants and ecosystems.
