Gary is responsible for collection development and maintenance of BRIT’s library and archival collections. BRIT’s outstanding library collection is available for students and researchers both in-house and on the web.
Gary previously was a Librarian at Dallas Public Library with assignments in the Texas/Dallas Special Collections, General Reference, and most recently at the Preston Royal Branch Library.
He served with the Texas Army National Guard as the First Sergeant for the Rear Detachment of his unit, the 2/112 Armor Battalion, 36th Infantry Division, for 22 years.
He is a member of the Texas Library Association, and has been elected to serve on the Board and as Treasurer for the Friends of the Fort Worth Public Library.
