Keri is the Research Programs Manager for two of the international programs at BRIT: the Andes to Amazon Biodiversity Program and the New Guinea Program. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Biology from Texas Christian University before joining the AABP team at BRIT. Her job includes working closely with Renan Velaga (Project Manager in Peru), John Janovec (Andes to Amazon Program Head), Robert Johns (New Guinea Head) and other team members of the AABP and New Guinea teams. She maintains daily operations between Texas, New Guinea and Peru and maps the distribution of plant collections from South and Central America, using Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Before joining the team at BRIT, she worked in California on primary succession of a conifer forest in Lassen Volcanic National Park. She is interested in botanical research and conservation.
